Trofie-shaped pasta looks like pieces of rolled pasta using both hands or a thin stick. Trofile is usually served with pesto. It is also good for other types of sauces such as tomato and meat-based sauces. Referred as troffiette, this pasta can be used, as a substitute for strozzapretti pasta. Product of Italy
